Its been....way too long!
Im currently in college now at Virginia Tech @.@ Im enjoying it so far and have actually started to make ref sheet of my characters

So I have a question for any of you, since I currently dont have photoshop on my laptop, I was wondering if any of you knew of any free art programs other than GIMP and paint? I dont really like either of them XD;

Well, just thought Id mention a few things going on in my life right now, cause one of them means Ill probably be getting back into actually coloring some of my artwork and posting it on here! (cause you know, ive heard you guys miss my artwork =3)

so! First off, I'm all graduated from high school now! woooooo~ no more dealing with dumb people in my high school!

secondly, Im sure you all know what being out of high school means.....yuhp College! Kind of a funny story here actually, see I actually only applied to 2 schools (well....actually 3 but the last one I never sent my transcript to for reasons that will be mentioned later) I did early admissions for these 2, my top choice deferred me to regular admissions so I had to wait till April to find out if I got in or not. My second choice (at the time) accepted me reallly quickly and were even offer me so much scholarship stuff that I wouldnt've had to pay much to go there (i should probably mention that both schools were out of state) we visited it but it just....didnt click for me, plus I had finally decided not to major in biology and graphic design instead and they were only just now offering a regular art major but it was all mainly traditional media and stuff. So april came around, found out the other college.....wait listed me, making me wait EVEN MORE so I had to apply to a community college to be on the safe side. So we went on vacation about a week ago, and during it I found out I was accepted! woo hoo! happy times! I also 'kinda' got accepted to the community college......but that doesnt matter now.
SO this fall I will be going to VIrginia Tech IMA HOKIE NOW!! YAY XD

So! SINCE Ill be majoring in graphic design....that means I have to do artwork and Ill definatly post my projects and other stuff for you all to see! (assuming I dont get too distracted by a certain someone *pokes her boyfriend*)

yeah Im very excited though summer after the colorado trip has been really.....blah, but Im hopeing itll get better

I suddenly feel like posting journals of just random thoughts or observations I make XD

So, I was just looking through all the artwork people posted for the day (yes, I do look at what people post everyday even though I am basically inactive) and saw a few WIPs that artists posted of pictures they were working on at the moment and noticed a trend among the posting of a WIP: After they post the WIP, very soon after (very soon meaning within that day) they post the actual finished picture.

I don't get it! Why would you post a WIP and be like "yeah! what Im working on k" and then post the finished product so soon after? Personally, I prefer it when an artist post the finished picture a long time after they posted the WIP, it kindof builds up the anticipation if it looks like its going to be an epicly cool picture.

yuhhhp Ive been in school for 3 weeks now. It's been alright, only have three "normal" classes. Get to take art again this year =3 which makes me happy. Senior year defiantly feels rather laid back. XD

Everyone was sick this Thursday, and gave me their sicknesses. Fun stuff! As long as this isn't as bad as the cold I got at the beginning of the summer. For once I'll agree with something one of my friends said: Summer colds are the worst and the hardest to get rid of. So, I hope this goes away before the end of this 3 day weekend

I'll probably be posting more random stuff once I get more stuff drawn =o~ So expect cool stuffs in the near future
